The Resurrection of Batad

The Resurrection of Batad

The colorful people of Ifugao had dark days too. We heard about the almost forgotten mountain carvings. Few villagers left, however, there were people who stood for Batad Rice Terraces. They preserve to protect their motherland. Moreover, we cultivated how responsible tourism works. The way of life in Mountain Province and our capabilities to see magical scenery is as being grateful we live.

Pinas, Ma’ap Aphod!(Kay ganda)

Pinas, Ma’ap Aphod!(Kay ganda)

What an honor to witness, such a beauty! The awe-inspiring granary of Batad is truly a gift that we can cherish up to the future. Watching over from atop was a complete cure of exhaustion. Our tremendous steps climbing is a story to tell. We feel so proud of ourselves as we shouted, Pinas, kay ganda mo!

KaGaTag (Kape+Galo+Itag)

KaGaTag (Kape+Galo+Itag)

From Igorot’s rich history in providing food, proves that Filipinos have the ability and intelligence in order to survive. We tried their Itag (salted pork), Galo (rice) and brewed coffee. A perfect breakfast on a gloomy cold morning that made us ready for our TrueWanderer journey. It isn’t just a meal that gave us vigour but also a meal that reflects Filipino’s greatness that we can be proud of.

Adventure Lets You Live!

Adventure Lets You Live!

Our pumping hearts and noisy breath sounds covered all our way up to reach the beauty of Banaue. Throughout the mud, rocky terrain, and threatening rain we unraveled the waters of Tappiya Falls. It is not courage that pushes us to continue but the quality of landscape. As a young adventurer, with an outstretched legs, we are virtually driven to wander and share every element of the earth.
