That Hiker Boy

It’s a very interesting story which was told by my raaste ka dost only. After listening to the story I really wanted to see this place and we went there with one of my local friend I made there. See that’s why when you see something from a local’s point of view it is totally different and amazing.

Watching sunsets gives me a sense of calmness which can’t be explained in words. When you are in Kashmir which is known as Paradise on Earth then seeing sunset is a must. It was a magical moment which will always be with me till the time I am alive.

For the first time ever I experienced this kind of a view. It made me realise how tiny creation of God we are. Sometimes beautiful reality is much beyond our imagination. Kashmir is truly a paradise on Earth.

I even made friends with Army people who really guided me on my way and they were really helpful. I felt so motivated and determined after meeting them. They are the real heroes as what they are doing for the country cannot be done by any other. It was pleasure knowing their experiences and meeting them.

True friends are those who guide you well. So I thought let’s make some local friends who will tell us more and in depth about Kashmir. I met such lovely and naughty kids on my way and they made us realise how beautiful Kashmir and people of Kashmir are. We even enjoyed bike rides together. It is so beautiful to see that these children find happiness in every small thing.

On my way to Kashmir these were the kids I made friends with.All these kids were full of joy.I felt like their faces were telling some beautiful stories of Kashmir without saying anything.These faces made me feel the importance of innocence. And that is why I love clicking portraits as it explains it all not through words but from emotions on the face.

Though Kashmir is very famous for its non vegetarian food. Me being a vegetarian could not enjoy the food there but I surely tried to learn how to make this food. The joy was in learning as well. Wazwan Kebab is very famous cuisine of Kashmir. It is of different types of meat. It is surely a paradise for non vegetarians.

We wanted to end our Journey on a sweet note so we went to the last bakery shop of India. I finally got a lot of things to taste. At that point of time that bakery was food paradise for me.
